Outsourcing Readiness - Quick
Assessment
Conduct a readiness review of the bank's trade
business, to determine the viability of an outsourcing strategy, and if
outsourcing is indicated, a road map for the transition.

Outsourcing Requirements Definition
Conduct a requirement definition (or
review in-depth if it exists), for the business strategy, product strategy,
customer service model, operational model, technology, and integration with
bank systems. Knowing the bank's and its customer's requirements before
evaluating insourcers insures that the insourcers will be working to
demonstrate how they meet you requirements, rather than their latest bells and
whistles.
Also, determine which types of outsourcing
services would meet the banks requirement. For example, would a technology only
outsource be viable?

Identify the Short List

potential outsource providers. Potential providers will be graded on key
